went SHOPPING today! with joline and li zhen!
met up with joline at 5 at the dhoby ghaut station. saw SHIH YANN after a million yrs. what is this man, known her for the longest out of the 5 of them [other than connie] and she's the one who seems to be drifting further away, like the wind. hmmmm. anyway, she gave me the earrings she bought frm China. but i forgot to bring hers. :( dont even know when i'm gonna see her next ah.
SHIH YANN went off first so me and joline headed to orchard. wanted to test out my new ATM card, so we went to the ATM machine. happily, i keyed in my PIN number, typed $100 to withdraw. and.........
THE AMOUNT EXCEEDS WITHDRAWAL BALANCE.
WHAT THE HELL?!
i tried again, and.....
THE AMOUNT EXCEEDS WITHDRAWAL BALANCE.
thought that the machine had a problem or something, because how could $100 exceed the fucking withdrawal balance when i had over $600 in my damn account?!!?!?!?! plus i only had $2 cash with me!!
so nvm, i called mother ang and told her abt the situation. she told me to try another machine.
so we went to Tangs, and tried the ATM machine there.

FUCK FUCK FUCK. time to panic. looked at joline ng, and she said, "dont scare me ah!!"
apparently she was in a panic too.
flustered, i called mother ang and she said maybe my cheque wasnt cashed yet cos i went to make the ATM card on friday. so she called the bank, and she said that the cheque should be cashed already cos i went to the bank before 3.30 pm, which is the time when they cashed all cheques as they dont cash cheques on saturday.
and she said..... if they didnt cash the cheque, then i had to wait until WEDNESDAY!
!!!!!!!!
fuck it man. this time is FULL BLOWN PANIC. andrenaline was pumping through my veins [heh heh, bio put to use again. :)]; cold sweat dotted my face.
walked to Shaw House in a seemingly calm manner although chaos was happening in my brain. found li zhen working, and she was super blind. we were standing right in front of her and she glanced past us but didnt see us!! i even laughed loudly on purpose but she still didnt see us.
stood there for a while first, then went to try the ATM again for the last, desperate time. as i was taking the card out of my wallet maxine ang called. mother ang [i think] had called her and told her abt the damn card! and MAXINE ANG CAME TO MY RESCUE! *fanfare music plays*
she was at Taka, so me and joline went over in the rain. luckily joline had an umbrella, if not my super bad day was gonna become worse. she gave me $100! ok, not gave, but LENT.
i have money i have money!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHARRRRR. stupid card, stupid machine, stupid bank!!
so we went back to Isetan at Shaw House and wanted to buy a drink so that li zhen could serve us [she's working as a cashier.]. on the way back, an immaginary conversation happened between me and li zhen, thanks to mine and joline's wonderful imagination:
me: *slams drink on the counter.*
li zhen: *looks up, recognizes me* wah lau, what the hell is your problem?!
me: *pretends not to know her* what kind of attitude is this??
li zhen: you dont act lor!
me: WHAT!?!? i want to see your manager!!!
when i told li zhen abt this, i got whacked in Mango. :(
so, to sum everything up, we went to Far East. i bought my black heels frm Trendy Zone, li zhen bought ear sticks frm Watts In, and me and joline bought necklaces frm Watts In too. oh yeah, bought maxine ang's birthday present too.
at the orchard mrt station there was a Sembawang branch and i found the Zhou Jie Lun's CD, Still Fantasy, not the stupid Curse of The Golden Flower one!! heh. i'm not gonna lend nicholas lim this CD ok. he said he lost my November's Chopin CD!!!! i think i liked November's Chopin more than the Ye Hui Mei lor. grr.
speaking of Zhou Jie Lun, this Still Fantasy is quite good. but while his composing is getting better, he's also becoming more commercial. he posed semi-naked ok!!!! i cant imagine Zhou Jie Lun doing that yrs ago, but now........ what is the world coming to!?!?!?!?
ok, whatever.
then we headed to J8. wanted to get the Ice Lemon Tee blue wedges which were on sale, but in the end didnt. now i'm regretting it. i WANT!!!!!!!!
maybe by the time i go back there wont have anymore left. because as you know, everyone loves sales and all goods on sale will be snapped up before you can say Great Singapore Sale!!!!
sob~ and i had the money some more!!! as everyone should know by now, one can never have too many shoes. tomorrow is sunday, which means one more day of my dear wedges being at risk of being snapped up!
